IT WASNT PEE!!!!

So yesterday I got up and went to my 38 week appointment and my doctor said I was 2 cm but the baby hadn't dropped much at all so I shouldn't worry much about going in to labor in the next week. Well, I lost my mucus plug the day before and I had been having contractions but they weren't bad at all! Anyways after my appointment I went home and was very uncomfortable all day and then at about 5:00pm I got up to do laundry and I felt some pressure like I had to pee really bad and then it felt like I had peed on myself and I couldn't control it so I went and changed clothes and before I could get out of the bathroom it happened again and I really thought I was just peeing on myself because it kept happening over and over and then I realized the liquid was clear and didn't smell like pee so I called l&d and they told me to come in and get checked so at about 8:30 we left for the hospital and while we were on our way my contractions suddenly got really bad !!! Then went from light irregular cramps to horrible contractions that were less than 5mins apart. When I got to the hospital at about 10:30  they checked my cervix and I was already at a 5 and before I could get my info filled out she checked me again and told me I was at a 9 and I freaked out because the anastasiaologyst was still at home!  Fortunately he lived super close to the hospital and got there in like 10 minutes! So I got my epidural and within 20 minutes I was holding my son! Brantly Michael Dillon was born last night august 14th and 11:20 pm he weighs 6lbs 4oz and is 19 in long!
