You may have anemia... or it can just be a craving.... or you're just dehydrated... but I'm sure if you do have anemia your doc will tell you once you have your blood tested... i crave ice like crazyyyyyyy!! && i don't have anemia... soooo go figure.. lol..

Hi, here's the link from the Mayo clinic and if you do a google search, you will see that there is a link between ice craving and anemia.  They don't know if you are anemic by looking at you and often women take a while to show symptoms.  Here is the link to some information about it:

http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/iron-deficiency-anemia/expert-answers/chewing-ice/FAQ-20057982

And I'm not saying that you have this, I'm saying that you should mention it to your doctor to make sure you don't.  good luck

Anemia is a lack of iron in your blood. They would only know if they checked for it, so definitely let your doctor know (: craving ice doesn't necessarily mean you have it, just could be a sign. and if you do, you just take an iron supplement, so not a huge deal.

Hi there.  Well, maybe not but you need to talk to your doctor about this because craving ice can be a sign of anemia.  I have no idea why but it is a phenomenon that occurs.  So, tell your doctor about it so they can make sure your iron levels are okay.  good luck
