You will definitely wake up. I couldn't sleep thru mine and once I got the epidural, I took a nap then popped my son right out.

With my second I woke at 5.30am waited an hour and then started making phonecalls to the relevant people, I had her by 9.30am. With my third I woke at 1.30am not even sure if I'd been woken by a contraction...it took me half an hour to be even slightly sure that labour had started and waken my partner, after another half hour I knew it had and when the midwife checked me at 3am I was 5cm! My son was born an hour and twenty minutes later, not even 3hrs of labour. You will def waken!

But when I stood up my water broke lol I thought I peed myself but nope the contractions were 15 min behind it and u def wont be able to lay back down. Absolutely!!!!  That is something you can't sleep through...you won't have a baby come out of your body in sleep. Contractions painful or not..passage definitely is.
