Implantation bleeding or period?

I am 12 DPO, and having pregnancy symptoms.  I haad the MIRENA for 2 years this month, and it came out last month.  The doctor said I would ovulate around the 5th, took OPK, I was ovulating on the 5th and 6th!  Had unprotected sex the 2 days before, during and 2 days after.  Having several pregnancy symptoms, can't even ride in a car with someone without getting motion sickness!  According to the Dr., my period shouldn't be here for 2 more days.  Last night I had bright red blood, only when I wiped.  Then this morning, a little darker, but only when I wipe.  Could this be implantation bleeding, or did my period come earlier than predicted?

You shouldn't be bleeding if you're pregnant. Especially bleeding heavily

Well...I am pretty sure it wasnt implantation bleeding.  I have been bleeding, badly all day!  I am also vomiting!  Not too sure what is going on with me!  Guess it isn't time for me to be a mommy again!

Implantation bleeding is normally a brown or light pink discharge when you wipe, which doesn't sound like what you had. Since you've JUST literally came off birth control, it's possible that it's just your cycle trying to start. It can take a good few months to regulate into a normal cycle after getting that sort of thing removed. I'd wait a week, and if your period doesn't show in that time like your doctor predicated, then take a pregnancy test.
