Thank you ladies , I really don't want to be induced and I hope all goes well so I don't need a c section . Your stories deff helped me with my worries and concerns :)
On may 31sy I started pitocin at 2 pm and they broke my water ay 750 pm and by 1250 it was time to push and had baby at 118 am. So it was not badat all for me. I've heard horrible stories but mine was not bad at all. Good luck:)
I did, cause baby boy wasn't coming. I got the pessary at 41+5 for 24 hours but that didn't work, got my waters broken at 41+6 and was told id be allowed two hours til they started on iv after they broke them. Contractions started within 15 mins and were 3 mins apart. I was in labour 9.5 hours and baby boy was born by emergency section cause of complications, but none of them caused by being induced. I didn't need any meds to help labour along, and didn't find my contractions painful til i got to about 8cm x
I was induced last year in April, it wasn't bad at all I was 6 days late and not even a finger tip dilated when I went in, I was on pitocin for about 11 hours when my 9lb 2oz daughter was born! I wouldn't mind getting induced when I get preggo again, I'm actually going to ask my doctor to induce me at 39 weeks so maybe the next baby won't be so big :)
I was induced last year July 19 with my second daughter. :) it was a lot harder on my body than the contractions with #1 but I never needed oxygen once, i only labored 7 hours! :) it was painful as F but so fast! #1 I went naturally and was in labor for 26 hours and had lots of complications
