I stated my induction at 7pm last night I progressed from a two to fully dialated in eight hours my procedure was supposed to happen just like yours but I had my little girl at 740am!! They actually had to slow her down with medicine because she was coming too fast :p the staff was shocked at how fast everything went! I chose to get the epidural BTW! Goodlh

Braxtonn is right the pain brought me to tears and I stopped breathing at some points where the nurse had to get my attention. Everyone is very different don't worry. We were made for this.

I got induced at 700 on a Wednesday morning and I have to say once they gave it to me and turned on my left side it was 1 hour after I was already dilated to 4cm and was like that for 2 weeks. When they gave me the patocian it was hard labor they almost didn't give me my epidural I went from 4 cm to 7 within 45 minutes. They finally gave it to me before I hit 8 cm. And then I felt nothing. For a 23 year old I felt 5. But always remember even through the pain you won't be pregnant tomorrow and you will have your little one on your arms.

I went to the hospital for leaking fluid and had to be induced that night. Being induced can be tough on the body. I ended up getting the epidural after 8 hours, it wore off all on my left side after about 7 and 1/2 hours. They had to give me more of the epidural. The Pitocin makes your contractions irregular and the pain varies from bare able to putting you in tears. My contractions were literally coming every 10-20 seconds. I was lucky if they were even close to a minute apart. Not every induction is like this, some are luckier than I was lol
Good luck to you and I hope all goes well and you get to meet your little one soon! :)
