Inducing my step sister tomorrow!

Well she wasn't supposed to be induced until Friday, but because of her blisters they are going to induce tomorrow afternoon/evening, and we should have a baby by Friday morning sometime....unless they do a c-section. I have to pack my camera and over night bag to stay with her, so I wont be on much tomorrow. I have my docs appointment to go to, then straight to her hospital.

Is there anything I should think about bringing? I have never attended a birth besides my own, and I know this could take a while because it is her first baby, so any suggestions of items to bring incase I get bored lol. Im bringing my Ipod and Nintendo DS and of course my digital camera. Maybe I will bring the laptop too incase they have wireless internet.

Yup my step sis is having her first baby, I never mentioned it before for her privacy, but she gave me the okay to post about her lol. I will be with her along with her mother and the baby's father.

I would bring a scrabble board but she isn't into those types of things, I think I can add my scrapbooking stuff to the bag, she scrapbooks too and we are making a scrapbook for her baby Carter.

So your step sister is having a baby?  The title kind of confused me.... My Dh and mother played Scrabble while I was in labor. Are you going to be the only one there other than your sister?

i never thought of dvds!!! i know my dh is bringing his laptop so he can do scheduling for his shop/duty and do his school work....i can make the dvd/blu ray king bring me movies to watch!!!! lol that's not a bad idea for when you can't sleep at 3 am and the babies are in the nursery and nothings on tv.....hmmmmmmm

ooo coloring books...hehe I love to color. I could bring some DVD's and watch them on the laptop.

Maybe bring some stuff that the two of you can do together?  For when she's not in pain and just needs to take her mind off stuff.  UNO, playing cards, little travel games?  She may not be in the mood to play with you, but at least you can say you tried.  =D

I will def. bring me some snacks, maybe my whole bag of pretzels lol, and a few other items to snack on. I know I can eat at the cafeteria there but hospital food makes me feel yucky lol.

Oh speaking of food...has anyone seen the show Take Home Chef? Kurtis...I cant remember his last name, but he is an aussie. OMG he is sooo HOTTT!!! lmao i watch him all the time and he just came up on the tv. DH makes fun of me when he is on because I go all gaga lol.

Food! LOL I have only been in my sisters room with her during her 18hour labor and I tell you, I was so bored!!! Congrats to your sister and hope your appt. goes Great!
