I'm 35 weeks. And I want to try and induce myself (home remedies) when I get to 37 weeks (full term) would I be wrong to do so?

Most doctors want you to carry till at least week 39... The brain isn't fully developed by week 37.. I'm 38wks1day and I want my son to come on his own when he's ready so he can be fully developed. But if you want to.. I'd talk to your doctor first for their imput before you do so.

Everyone's opinion is different. I'm 37+4 and have been trying to induce myself since I hit 37 weeks. I would say go for it. My doctor even said it's fine since he's full term now

The problem with that is when you think you are 37 weeks you could actually be 35, and that's pre term.
Most doctors want to wait until 39 weeks because even if they are wrong and you're not quite there, you're at least 37 weeks which is okay.

Let your baby take its natural course and if tour doctor wants you to be induced or work towards that on your own, that's fine.. just okay it with your doctor first.  Two extra weeks in the womb is much better than 6 in the hospital because they were too early!
