They're just gonna use pitocin .
I have some basic induction info in my journals on my profile, along with my birth story. Has your doctor discussed which method of induction he/she typically uses?
If it helps, I was induced and went on to have a drug free labor. Yes induction can be rough and frustrating but if it needs to be done, there's no reason to be scared. Ask for your bishop score (Google it I haven't gotten around to making a journal entry about it yet) from your provider before you induce.
Im being induced at 5 am.
The nurses should have told you not to eat a big meal.. as you could be in labor.. and throw up.. or.. just **** all over them. And be flexable. The baby could be ready.. and your body isnt picking up the signs.. so it will be fast. The baby could not be ready... and the body trying to start labor could destress the baby, causing an.emergency c-section. Or.. just a looong labor. So.. expect anything! Be flexable. And trust your doctors and nurses.(:
I'd like to know too! I'll be induced this weekend
