So with my 2 other kids I was induced and im woundering if they will induce me with this one as well? I was 38w when thy induced me!

Having had one of each, natural wins hands down. I would personally avoid induction as long as I could. I've been booked for a sweep next week when I'll be 40+5 but hopefully I'll either not need it or it will be enough to get me going like it was last time. If it doesnt work they will start with the gel when I am 12days over before moving onto the more intrusive methods. I would def chat with your doc, they should be happy to leave you alone or should have a very good reason to give you if they feel it is the best thing for you :)

Hun trust me if there's no medical reason over here you can refuse to be induced until 42w. If you wantti go naturally or at least wait until 40/41w then you've every right xxx

That was with my old doc but now I have a new one so mab she will be different? I would love to go into labor naturally! So im going to have a talk with her!

I agree with above...surely Its best to wait and go naturally..I mean there's a reason were pregnant for 40weeks. I still can't believe your doc induces at 38w Witt no medical reason. I was induced at 40w and that was with gd.

I was induced with gestational diabetes. I will not be doing it again unless baby is at risk..I am.actually excited of the chance of going.naturally even if I end up overdue. I just don't understand why docs offer to induce with no medical reasons ..especially at 38w??? I'm pretty sure they never do that here..where do you live?

My kiddos were never in danger my doc always decided to induce at 38w!

It depends on what the reason was 4.  If u or baby was in danger then yes.  But if not u can always refuse an induction, especially at 38weeks
