Is it bad luck?

Hi, I'm currently 20 wks 5 ds pregnant. Both parents on my side and my bfs side are really excited as this is going to be their first grandchild... anyway my mum said she wanted to buy the pram and he's mum said she'll get the cot... So I chose one thinking it wouldn't be ordered till after the baby is born (the pram) but my mum has ordered it and will be storing it at my aunties... My friend who is alsop pregnant said its bad luck! Now I keep thinking something bad will happen... Has anyone else got the pram before the baby was born? I'm just looking for some peace of mind really. Thanks! alsoalso

No its not bad luck to get any of it before hand. Its called being prepared for babys arrival is all. Don't wait til last minute cuz you won't want to do that shopping after baby is born.

Pram is a stroller... i think??  mine was the car seat/stroller combo so i had it bought early... and the cot is the crib? right?

Ive never even heard of this wives tale lol i had everything ready and set up before my daughter arrived... its kinda almost mean that your friend would say that... make you all paranoid and what not... and i know she wasnt trying to be but when you think of it...

Lol thats just an old wives tale. And the saying is its bad luck to have the pram at your house. If its at your aunties house then that is fine!!!

That being said its a load of rubbish lol. LOADS of people get the pram before the baby comes including me! Nothing bad happened and didnt happen to all the people i know who had their pram early.

Yep! My dad brought it at 6 weeks! As he found one at a good price. I just Didnt allow it at ny house till I was about 26 weeks.

LOL dont worry this is my third pregnancy I already have 2 healthy happy girls and thispregnancy is a boy with both my girls I had everything in the house before my due date and this little man has everything ready for his arrival and im only 30 weeks tomorrow xxxxx dont panic its all old wives tales xxxxx my little mans pram car seat crib moses basket are all in my bedroom ready, checked and toys in just awaiting my little mans arrival I cant wait xxxxx good luck and dont panic your baby will be fine xxxxx
