I've had vivid pregnancy dreams but severe nightmares after birth?

I had my son 5 days ago and I'm having nightmares everynight.  last night was the worst I woke up with my heart racing and crying.   I dreamt  insidious like.  my son was gettibg taken by the devil while over 200 wild animals watched from the front of my house.  this freaked me out so much I caved in a stole one of my bfs smokes and went outside of one to cool down.  please tell me these nightmares aren't going to continue I can't handle another night of these.  is this even normal or do I need to see a doctor?

thanks! yeah I made a post I also added a pic of him.  its been tough the last couple days I definetly need to adjust to having my 3 other kids who keep me on my toes and this one who keeps me up at night cause he won't sleep longer then a hour at a time unless he's on my chest.

I know the vivid dreams during pregnancy stem from hormones so maybe the nightmares are caused  by your body adjusting back to normal?  I don't remember if I saw your 'hes  here' post so congratulations! Apart from the nightmares how is everything else going?
