Job hunting?

When is the best time to find a job after the baby is born?

My boyfriend works full time. And I want to be able to support our little family as well.

Oh & I'll be starting night school after summer which is two or three days a week... don't judge me but I never went to high school because I got into drugs, and ran away a lot. But my boyfriend was the one who got me to change my ways & now were having a baby and I'm due in 8 days (=

My boyftiends step mom offered but I feel scared to leave my son there for even a few hours, night school is maybe 2-3 hours long. I think I'll be sad to leave him with someone else "/

I was going to wait and take it slow like going school first and waiting a couple months to work and see how things go.

In the same boat except I'm a college student. My mom and mil told me to wait until I'm comfortable leaving my son. They said if I plan on it, I could develop separation anxiety trying to prepare myself too much. Just spend time with your munchkin and healing - once you're ready, you'll know. I think I'm going to wait at least a month and a half before I start looking.

Yay congrats that you want to do something with your life. I to want to work and help my bf to support our little princess.  Well right now I'm in school and when I have my baby I'll be out for three months and go back and finish in September and with faith in God start working in October.  But you do you and finish bc in the long run it will help

congratulations on the baby! I think the way to 6 weeks before want to go back to work. So really anything anytime after 6 weeks and look for a job. But it's also if you feel comfortable leaving the baby. I know a lot of women (including me). have said that they were excited to go back to work but once the baby got here that was a different story.
