Actually, some babies are born with the waters still intact. It's considered to be lucky in many cultures
Mine broke before labour last time, due to my sons position, i sneezed and taadaaa my waters were everywhere! My contractions started around 1-2 hours later. This time i have no idea what to expect but yes they say its uncommon for your waters to break first, but as someone said above, its totally random you cant predict how things will go or how they will happen.
Okay i'll talk to him about it. Thanks :)
The water will always break on its own eventually, it just might not do it until you've been in labor for a while. I asked my doc not to break mine ( I wanted to avoid as many interventions as possible) and it broke on its own when I hit transition. Its totally up to you and your doc. Just ask him about the pros and cons of having it broken and let him know what you want to do.
Okay lol i thought it would hurt if they broke it. I was worried. My mom had to have her water broke everytime. In movies and on shows they always show the water breaking before labor. It makes it confusing.
Its not uncommon. But your supposed to be having contractions before it does...my Dr brokery water with all three of my babies...it didn't hurt
That's nor true.
Its totally random.
Mine broke.
N I'm expecting again. So well see
