Just need reassurance

Hi everyone,
I'm 26 years old and just found out I'm pregnant with my second child. I have a 4 year old daughter. I've had blood work, that was good and a pelvic exam and my Dr said my uterus felt like I was 2 months when he checked me internally and he couldn't feel my ovaries which he said was good. I have been having a dull aching in my lower right side almost ever since I found out I was pregnant. Its not sharp but if I sit down fast it hurts a little more. Its also not unbearable but it uncomfortable and worrys me. I've told my doctor and he mentioned possibly a cyst but I'm more worried about a ectopic pregnancy. I've had no bleeding or severe cramping. Also I have had my appendixs out many years ago and maybe its old scar tissue trying to stretch. Any ideas or help is much appreciated. Thanks

I have an ultrasound scheduled for 3 weeks from now, just routine and when I told my doc about the pain he said he would try to get me one earlier. I may have to go to his office tomorrow and see what the deal is. Its an odd ache, sometimes its there and sometimes its not. I know for sure I didn't have this ache with my first pregnancy. Thanks for writing me. Good luck with your pregnancy.

Hi there, I have also had some strange pains, both in my pelvis and back, since I found out I was pregnant. For sure, could be related to scar tissue and general sensitivity in your pelvis but if you are worried you can ask for an ultrasound to rule out any potential serious issues. I'm sure it's nothing but at least then you will know what it is! And it is always good to rule out an etopic, and considering that they are not sure how far along you are it sounds like an ultrasound is in order just to date you! Good luck :)
