Labor

I'm 30 weeks and I don't know why but I'm not scared of labor at all. In a weird way I'm actually looking forward to it. Just that bond and to see the look on my husband's face. This is our first baby and I'm just looking forward to the day I go into labor. I guess it's just all the excitement and looking forward to seeing our lil girl and getting to hold her. Does anyone else have this feeling? I read other post about people being scared about labor but I just can't help but be excited and looking forward to it. I know I will be in a lot of pain but I've always been that type of person who loves to work for what I have and I have a lot of family encouragement so I don't think it will be too bad. I'm even going to try for a natural birth lol. I just have a great feeling about all this. I feel like I'm crazy. Anyone else?

I was excited for labor with my first and it was such an amazing thing to go through, even though it certainly didn't start the way I had hoped, that I can't wait to do it again with our second in a month or less! We had a natural birth and it is one of my best memories, actually. I have no fondness for the later stages of pregnancy, but going through labor is really cool, I think!

Thanks. I'm glad I'm not the only one. It's just an unexplainable excitement lol. My mom thinks I'm nuts but I just can't wait to see our baby girl. Ever since my morning sickness went away I have enjoyed every last second of my pregnancy. I'm definitely looking forward (and hoping) to everything just coming naturally, labor and all.

I'm only 7w2d's and I'm terrified of it. I'm hoping as the pregnancy progresses my fears of labor calm down

I felt extremely excited for labour to happen with my first baby as we couldnt wait to find out if wee had a boy or girl. I was so relaxed and got through labour no bother at all. In and out of hospital in 9hours :) Its best to be excited.  Can finally put a face to the wee person kicking you from the inside. Good luck for when it comes :) xxx

I was not scared until I actually went into L&D to be induced! I was like you and looked forward to it.. Now with my second pregnancy, I'm terrified and trying to enjoy this pregnancy as much as possible and not rush it!
