Lillian Kathleen is finally here!

My beautiful baby girl was born on Thursday 6th August at 1:04pm weighing 8pounds 1 ounce. She is perfect in every way!

My story: I went into hosp on wed morning to be induced although they were too busy! So i ended up going into labour by myself. By 7pm that night i was 3cm dialated and dr allowed me to go home and come back in the morning for assessment. At home contractions came strong at 3-5 minutes apart. In the morning we went back to hosp and they broke my waters at 8am (thurs). they intended to give me a drip to speed things along but had an emergency and left me to my own devices. After a few hours they came and baby had ctg and her heart rate was 190-195. They tried to take blood but she was in a weird position. After assessment i was 6 cm dialted and progressing fast enough so i had an emergency c-section. Lillian came out with the tube around her neck so dr said it was lucky she was not born vaginally. She is perfect and they couldn't find an answer as to why she was so distress other than cord pressure.

I'm so glad to have my beautiful girl after a terrfifying delivery. Very sore and tired and feeling like it's all a dream. She is just perfect :0

congratulations!!! my last was born vaginally with the chord round his neck...it was affecting his ctg. i insisted they 'pull him out' as at 8lbs 13ozs i knew i couldn't get him out quick alone as they were asking of me. he was, luckily, absolutely fine. anyway, congrats again on your little princess.
