Low HCG numbers and not doubling

At 3w6d my HCG count was 41, at 4w1d it was 63, at 4w3d it was 88 and now at 4w6d it was 122.  My numbers are going up but only by about 50%.  Is there any chance this will not end in a miscarriage?  I have had no cramping or bleeding.  Doing more blood work this week with an ultrasound on Monday (5w6d).  I am trying to stay positive but it is hard.  Doctor thinks it may be an ectopic pregnancy but no way to tell until the ultrasound next week.

thank you for the support ladies.  with my first pregnancy, we got pregnant the first time around with fertility (issue is with husbands numbers).  This time we did two rounds and we were so excited about being pregnant but now I am just worried.  I just have to make it through this week/weekend then we will know what is going on.

It's hard to say for sure. But the ultrasound will tell. Even if it is ectopic... its early enough to not hAve to have surgery. Make sure you ask about every option. I hope all works out for you. I had an ectopic and a miscarrIage before becoming successfully pregnant... so don't be discouraged.
