That's what he is trying to prevent with putting me on this diet early. I'm only 13 weeks a one day.
I was with my first. I just put the salt shaker up and didnt use it when i was cooking or eating. But that entire thing was pointless for me because i had developed pre eclampsia. And it was undetected until 36 weeks. (Despite severe swelling extremely high blood pressure etc)
Thanks. I've done really well at just being conscious of what is loaded with sodium and what isn't. I've been Googling like crazy about the diet because I don't want to harm my baby. I've switched to fresh or frozen veggies instead of can. I've also been eating more fruits and cutting all starchy foods. I'm feeling better. I'm also starting to walk more. I hope it helps.. just thought knowing more easy recipes to add to my list would help a lot. Looking for soup and crackpot ones. Thanks again
I have a history of Hbp I've been controlling it now with out any medication for over a year at first the only thing that help me lower it was basically cut all foods with lots of sodium I would mimize it slowy till I stop using salt and other products with a lot of salt and trust me it's really hard specially Cus I love salty foods but I got so use to it and working out helped out even more that I don't miss it much once in a while ill eat things with salt and that's becuase as much as u try to prevent them most good contain sodium but just limit it and work out do an hour or so of cardio and trust me that works plus my dr also told me to stop eating white flours carbs which I did and lost weight and it was another reason why my BP has been good idk any recepies I wish I knew some but I'm a Hispanic woman most Hispanic foods contain lots or salt :-/ good luck I hope u find some!..
