Hi I just spoke to my dr and he said to keep taking the progesterone and to go back Tuesday for another blood test. He said that the level did decrease but that it still within a normal range and that he is not to concern about it right now because the HCG increased good. (The nurse that I spoke to this morning was the one that told me that my hcg levels should have been at 5000 - 6000!!! I was devastated!!! but then after I calmed down I started thinking that it doesn't make sense. If they are supposed to double every 24-72 hours how were they supposed to jump from 581 to 5000 with 4 days difference. What i think she did was that instead of doing the math using the 581 she did it using the 1542.) I'm still not completely out the hole but at least I have better hope now. Let's just pray that everything turns out good on Tuesday. Thank you for your concern, support and for listening (or reading) all my rumbling.
Any update from teh doctors?
Thank you ladies...I really pray that everything turns out good. I'm so worried. I started the prog suppositories today.
Hey there - at 3-4 weeks pregnant I had HCG of 350 and progesterone of just 9 when normal should have been closer to 20. I am now 19 weeks and so far everything has been good. My doctor prescribed me progesterone suppositories until I was 12 weeks and feeling good now!
Good luck and keep your head up!
I agree with jschoch8. I had low progesterone in this pregnancy and my fertility doctor prescribed me progesterone suppositories and I am now 30 weeks with a healthy little girl. There is definitely hope to get your number of your progesterone back up as long as they caught it in time.
if you can get your progesterone levels up, there is still a change that your hcg levels can go up normally. Unfortunately, this is all you can do at this point. God forbid it doesnt work out this time, you should start your progesterone after you ovulate next time. Don't give up hope though! I hope it works out for you.
