Low progesterone one pregnancy to the next???

I met my df in August 2009 and we had 2 miscarriage in 2010. The first was a missed mc and second was a blighted ovum. I also have 2 children from a previous relationship. We then fell pregnant April 2011 with our daughter and with her I had low progesterone. I was placed on suppository twice a day till 14 weeks. Now here I am pregnant again, 6 weeks tomorrow, and worried about low progesterone. Will I have it again because I did my last pregnancy? I had labs done Wednesday to check my level but with the holiday I won't know till Monday. My first 2 betas came back perfect and ultrasound on Wednesday showed a sac in my uterus. Has anyone gone through this before?

I had 2 m/cs and then 2 pregnancies both low progesterone which I had to take supplements.  Number 3 mine wasn't low at all.  Each pregnancy is different.  Good luck.

All I know is I had 2 normal healthy pregnancy first at 16 then at 19. My second was born at 33 weeks with no known reason. Then I had a missed mc followed by blighted ovum in 2010. Then fell pregnant April 2011 and when I was 1 day late for af my hcg was 238 progesterone 6.5. Then 2 days later hcg was 512 and progesterone 6.2 and I ordered to be put on supplement. Despite the doctor telling me my levels were fine.

Now this go around pregnancy was totally unplanned. Plus we moved to a new county which means new doctor that knows nothing about me. Which I was having cramping in the right so she was more concerned to rule out ectopic then check progesterone. So I got my bfp 11/14 when I was 3 days late and at 4 days late hcg was 83. Then 8 days late hcg was 582 and I'm not sure about blood work from Wednesday because of holiday.  This last set of labs is the first time they are checking progesterone. I have only had mild cramps and no bleeding.

So I'm just wondering if I could of had low progesterone with my daughter last year but not now?

I should also add after my Gyno miss diagnosed me with PCOS I began seeing an Re after several months of Cd21 blood work the only thing he could find was I had a progesterone deficiency during my cycle and not PCOS which is one of the only reasons they monitored it. Hope this helps

Yes it it possible to have low progesterone one pregnancy and not the rest. I had two pregnancy where progesterone was not an issue, had a late miscarriage at 20 was and again low progesterone wasn't an issue. I have had several mc between my first and second pregnancy and again between my secon and third pregnancy. Then I had one early mc where progesterone was low but betas never doubled either then aug last yr got pregnant with my daughter. My progesterone was just a little low like 15 I think so they put me on suppositories for the first 12 weeks to be safe. Every pregnancy is different and acts different. My first child I was on bed rest at the 20 wk mark and still had him a month early even after being on meds but the rest of my full term pregnanciesI never had the issue. I have had about 10 or so mc and never found the reason bc it was always before my first appointment and the dr never thought to check for that. Just try to take an easy and stay positive!

hey,
i was on progesterone this pregnancy, i had two previous losses before that and i have a son. i think you are doing everything right, you have test results coming in and hopefully that will help you and your doctor decide if you should do the progesterone again.
i don't know how i would feel in your situation, though one day i hope to be in the same situation. i think i would do the same as you. consult the doctor and go from there.
sorry i don't have more to share. just wanted to say i think you're on the right path and i hope everything goes smoothly for you.
