Lump under arm

I just shaved my armpit in the shower and noticed that a little lump had suddenly appeared. It's very tender to touch and feels like its under the skin. I'm not sure if it's pink because i've been prodding it or not but I am worried. Help?

I had a boil under my armpit once. I knew it wasn't a tumor because within a day the size almost doubled. I had to go to the doctors to have it lanced. If it's under your left arm get in sooner than later because if it's an infection it can be dangerous for your heart.

If its where you shave heres my question. Do you use the sane razor that you leave in the shower or bath tub area for a couple uses before changing?

If it's your lymph node it just means your body is fighting off something. Nothing serious just your immune system doing what it's suppose to. It normally goes down after a couple of days.

Does it go away on it's own or do I need to do anything?

It could be your lymph nodes too. It will look Like a pimple or something and be really sore.
