Making me feel bad ;(

I'm 19 and a FTM in a 4 year relationship living with my boyfriend in our own for two years. He is 25 (please don't give me grief over our age difference because I was legal to consent to be with someone over 18) he is a great guy and I live him so much. He works so hard but we just found out that I'm 5 weeks pregnant. The few people I've told have made me feel like a disappointment and like I can't do it. Which makes me sad and ruins out happiness. It's also making me feel bad about telling my family and other friends because of what they may say. ;( should I feel like crap about this??

Aw thank you so much. It's not fair that we can't be happy without others pulling us down. If only more people were like you sweetie!

I got pregnant with my 1st at 18 and had her at 19 and I was scared to tell my family as well, they were disappointed but I still had their support. Do not feel bad it happens all the time, you can still have a wonderful life it just takes a bit more effort and dedication. Babies do not ruin dreams they only delay them, good luck and congrats.

Thank you so much love! For some reason everyone assumes that your husband or boyfriend (because he's older) was a creeper or something! Hopefully the stigma will lessen as we get older

You should never feel bad for being in love with someone, it's great you guys are having a child the negative people don't deserve to be a part of your life.. They are the ones missin out. Tey must be jealous cause you have someone good I'm only 21 and my bf is 19 age doesn't matter if you love someone I had my first child at 15 and people said negative things but I'm super happy my bf now of 2 years (whose 19) his sister and her friend said alot of mean things when they found out I was pregnant satin I'm not good for him bla bla bla. But him and I are happy and love each other very much. That's all that matters girl!!!:)

You've been together for four years, living on your own so you have been supporting yourselves, and they're saying its a bad thing you're pregnant?! What kind of friends do you have? You have every right to be happy and don't let anyone take that from you. Congrats hun on your baby!

I'm 18 with a 24 year old boyfriend & we live together also. We are expecting our first child in 2months, people have judged me because i'm young or because my bf is 6 years older than me but i don't care what anybody has to say! Congrats on your pregnancy & enjoy it(: a baby is a blessing, not a curse! If anyone you tell starts acting different ect. Then they weren't a true friend to begin with. I've lost some friends, but at the end of the day i'm gona focus on my baby. You can do it, keep your head up momma(:
