When was the earliest you had sex after baby was born.  my son is 9 days and I'm getting very frustrated.  I know it has to do a lot with my self esteem some back cause I fit into clothes now but also with how my bf is treating me in a good way.  I did not get any stiches after birth and basically done bleeding.  I never experienced this urge after my other kids so I waited 6 weeks.  I just don't think I can now

I waited two weeks, I think you should be okay as long as you feel comfortable, go for it! Lol :)

If it were me I would wait the 6 weeks. I know people who haven't waited & everything was fine, but you could get an infection or something. I know 6 weeks is a looong time to go without sex, especially when you're in a relationship, but I don't think it's worth the risk.

I waited 3 weeks with my first and i had second degree tearing but healed really quickly and i was fine. I was on bedrest 12 weeks prior to giving birth so i to was frusterated and didnt wanna wait!

I actually cried today.  I'm that frustrated.  either way its not going to happen for a couple days until I can go out and get some heavy duty condoms or A grade saran wrap lol I am just scared for infection mostly.  6 weeks will be technically longer for me because I'm getting my tubes tied the day after my son turns 1 1/2 months so I have that recovery period too. Its hilarious I wanted nothing to do with it and now my minds changed lol

Wow, we tried after 5 weeks but it hurt so it didn't last long.

Five weeks and since i didnt wait the full six weeks on of my stitches came out but i was still ok

I had a csection and stopped bleeding after 3 weeks and had sex after 4 weeks it really depends on how you think your body can handle it if you think you can go for it

@liteskin.  its been a while and I feel so much better about myself.  the fact my bf after 4 years and seeing what I went through is still attracted to me helps also.
