I hate to admit but my bf has a Harley and around that time i was riding once a month, short distance and no where that required a bunch of speed. Very mellow drives, now that I'm almost due i won't get on because I'm so big! The reason my doc said she didn't recommend me riding was out of risk of falling, plus the Harley is very loud so I'm convinced i may scare my Lil guy and risk him turning this late, he's due in 5 days!
Contact sports, horse back ridings, four wheeling, snow mobiles and motorcycles should be avoided during pregnancy. The activities won't hurt baby but accidents can be quite dangerous. In the end It's up to you. Personally I wouldn't take the risk.
I'm glad you asked I have been wondering this myself. My husband loves to ride and I've really come to enjoy it but I haven't gone since finding out I was pregnant (I am 12 weeks today). Harleys vibrate a lot. How long did you ride for?
Not sure about motorcycles. Like you said it's dangerous pregnant or not, I don't think being preggo would increase the danger of riding.
I just wanted to say to twelvegaigie that rididng horses could send you into preterm labor. If you rode in the early stages I am suprised you still have your baby.
My dad used to take me on rides pre pregnancy but he refuses now. I think its preference of the driver. And how safe you feel while riding.
i ride 4wheelers and horses pretty often and im 28 weeks i think... and theres nothing wrong with my baby so i figure your fine
I won't go for a motorcycle ride just because our center of gravity is thrown off and I would hate for something to happen to the baby
