My labor story!!! :D
Alright so my labor story!
I went for my Dr Appointment the 5th and was checked, i was 1cm dilated, ended up gettibg my NST test that day, everything checked out fine except the ultrasound. My baby had no fluid around her... was told they'd have to induce me right away.
So went home relaxed (tried to) ate, showered went back up to the hospital. Around 5pm they started inducing me, they put a foley balloon in my cervix to help dilate me. That thing hurts really bad, after the Foley finally came out, i was at 5cm, dealt with contractions and stayed at 5cm until 12am.
Finally decided to get an epidural after waiting that long. Got the epi, catheter was inserted and oh no the epidural didnt take... my body literally rejected the epidural! My foot would go numb for a couple hours or my leg and thats it! Ended up technically delivering her naturally! With a numb foot.
Finally about 1pm i was at 10cm but there was still a tiny bit of cervix left, nurse didnt want to risk me pushing just yet. So i had to wait an hour and a half for it to thin completely. Finally it was time to push. I was in labor for 24 hours and at 2:38pm on December 6th my baby girl Maddison Marie was born weighing 6lbs 12oz and 20in long. Shes perfect! :)

Congrats! We had the same due date. Glad to see everything worked out for you and baby girl. Being a mommy is awesome. :)
Thank you!! @EvaNichole pain isn't my strong suit either lol. @Mee25 I was actually having contractions a few days before i was induced, and I was leaking fluid slowly just didnt know it, thought it was discharge. @Awambach95 i was actually 40weeks 1day, i was scared. But i had no other choice
How far along were you when they induced you? I'm 37 weeks today and really low on fluid my doctors talked about inducing me.
Congrats. If you don't mind me asking, did you leaked? I have this paranoid feeling that i will leak water without realising it and there will be no fluid around him.
Omgosh! Congrats! I'm so worried that the epi isn't going to work on me, I'm such a worry wart and pain is not my strong suit. Either way I'll have to go through it but it's scary!
