My 4 day old baby won't let me put him down for anything.  He has to be sleeping on me and won't lay in his bassinet. How can I get him to sleep somewhere else

He's still bonding with you. Give him all the time he needs to develop a secure attachment to you and try swaddling for sleep times.

a swing but not one of the short ones that are close to the floor it has to be a tall one that goes side to side trust me it was my best friend with both my older kids when they were small they feel as if they are being held and it will let you sleep a little and get things you need done done :-)

He wants to be close to you. He's been balled up inside your tummy for months on end, its all he knows. Cherish the cuddles while they last, its not forever and you'll miss it when he doesn't want them as much anymore!
