accreta

As I had mentioned before, I have complete previa. I go for an mri to check for accreta in a few days. I am curious what will happen if they find accreta on the mri. My doctor really didn't explain too much about it. Will they deliver the baby right then? I am now 33 1/2 weeks along.

accreta is when the placenta grows into the uterus

I'm not sure what accreta is or what they're looking for. If they're looking for calcification of the placenta I think it would depend on how much is actually getting to baby at this point. In these cases it is sometimes safer to take baby sooner rather than wait and risk and something.
