Natural birth: tips/advice?

Hi ladies, I'm a ftm & I'm currently 37w4d. I'm expecting a precious baby boy on the 25th which is only 17 more days, but I'm already 3cm dilated as of last Thursday. I'm planning on having on all natural vaginal birth with only the typical pain relief thru an IV during contractions. So, I was wondering if any of you mommies who have went thru an all natural childbirth have any tips or advice that I may can use? I haven't gotten to take any childbirth classes, so any tips will be helpful. Thank you! :)

I could handle the 'pain' until 7cm then i needed water and gas and air. Up until then i walked walked walked and walked! When my midwife had to check me and tell me i was 7cm i had to lay down and that was sooooooo painful. Laying down or being still is the worse thing you can do! Lol. Good luck mumma!

I lasted until 8 cm and breathing through it and having a focal point helped me to get to that point. This time around I am bringing a stress ball just because I didn't like squeezing my husbands hand and it will give me something to focus on.
