Need advice

Hi all, I hope someone can help me here

I started omitting this brown discharge, no cramping, no pain, no pink or reddish blood upon wiping and thats only when this discharge happens,  a week before my period was due (24th Feb it started) my period was due the following sunday, i had this odd feeling inside of me so i did a pregnancy test last wednesday and it was positive now by my calculations i can only be about 3-4 weeks pregnant, i went to my Early pregnancy Unit and they took blood on Friday and my HCG was sittin at 178 which is medium apparently, but yesterday the told me that it had dropped to 79 and that i should be experiencing a heavy bleed and it being fresh red blood, and to prepare to miscarry, but im not, the discharge has stopped and there is no blood.  I dont understand what is happening to me, i dont have a history of miscarriage, but the clinic seemed so dismissive, that i were to give up hope, surely if i have been gettin this discharge for as long as i was, then for it to stop, along with no cramping or bleedin of fresh blood, then the hcg hormone would be lower than it is?
