Need to quit smoking!

I am 5 weeks pregnant and I smoke, but when I found out I cut back to 2 cigs a day and I'm struggling so hard kicking the last two. I stopped cold turkey with my first, but I had depression problems after and now I can't quit. Any advice? Please no bashing..

I smoked like a chimney before my first, i was seeing a smoking advisor The whole way through who supplied me with Nicotine Replacement Therapy - such as patches, inhalators and gum. Found it really helpful tbh.. Stick a patch on first thing and try switchin up your routine, like your morning cuppa.. Have fruit juice instead. Its things like the kettle klicking after boiling that sets off receptors in the brain that makes them think 'fag breakkkk' lol - the brain is a clever thing! its like kickin any bad habbit, never easy but be stubborn with it and youll find it easier as you go. It helps to keep busy too :)

Try to find a replacement such as chewing a piece of gum or going on a walk or chewing on a pen. I used to chew (gross for girls to chew I know) until I found out I was pregnant and I quit the day I found out and the craving a were rough but I kept gum with me and always had a piece in my mouth and that helped a lot!
