Newborn/breastfeeding

so my son is a week old and I have been breastfeeding him. He spits up a lot throughout the day, sometimes right after I feed him or just randomly. He is still pooping tho so he's still getting some. Lots of people say babies spit up all the time but should I be worried?

My son spits up a lot to and I breastfeed. Its pretty scary at times seeing it happen to him. I ask his doctors almost everytime he has a appointment why this could be. They tell me that you really have to watch what you eat since everything goes to him. Also after hes done eating and burped to sit him up for 30minutes. I hope this helps you! :)

Are u burping him? Sometimes if u stop half way through feedings and burp them, they won't spit up after they are done eating. I did this with my baby and she hasn't spit up, but maybe once or twice. She is 3 months and also breastfed.
