Not happy about being pregnant!?

I just found out I was pregnant a week ago the day b4 my 22nd birthday. I know I got myself into this and I do have a supportive boyfriend but I am so nervous. We don't have much. I'm still on school and I really wanted to get married first. I'm 5 weeks now and I feel so lazy and tired. Idk if I should feel like this so early. I feel like a 16 year old scared outof my mind. Children are a blessing and I want to feel happy and excited but I don't.

I was 19 when I had my first child. It was scary and less than ideal circumstances, not much income, and we had a lot of growing to do. We did get engaged when our baby was 4 months old but didn't get married until he was 4. We had some really tough times that challenged us and our relationship but we've made it through and I wouldn't change a thing. We are now expecting baby number 3 and life is good :)

Well it could be worse, you can do it, everything will work out and everything happens for a reason, it might not have happened the way you want but god works in mysterious ways :)

I felt the exact same way when i had my first pregnancy. I found out on the day before my 17th birthday and the day of my birthday i told my mom and it was a horrible bday for me,and i wasnt happy at first at all. But then i got over it. I think its pretty normal and you will get over that feeling. I hope you feel better soon!

I just think so much about how I want things to go. Abortion or Adoption would never be an option for me never...We have been together for three years but we have some growing to do b4 marriage. I would be fine with a courthouse wedding. We love eachother. But I also always said I wouldn't run off and get married just because I'm pregnant. I don't think our love should be based off of that. I just a worry wart. My grandmother raised me and two siblings. I want her to be happy and she won't be. Maybe at 24-25 she would have...but it just wasn't smart for me to do this b4 I finished school.

There is no rule that says you can't get married.  My friends got married before a judge on his lunch break.  It was the sweetest wedding ever.  If you are thinking that only the huge thirty-thousand dollar bash will do, think again.  Some of the longest-lasting marriages began on a shoestring.

It's normal to have mixed emotions like that, especially when it's a surprise. Give yourself some time to absorb it, and hopefully you'll feel better about as time goes on.
