Not looking good...

I'm 19 years old with my first pregnancy and went to the ER last night due to bleeding/brown discharge. They tested my blood and urine, and I also had a pelvic exam and ultrasound done. The doctor says my baby measures at 6 weeks 1 day with no heartbeat. This is way off from my dates, as I had my last period March 22.
My HCG level is 9713 , and has been rising normally, but is it normal for the dates to be so off? I was never given a due date previously because this is the first time baby has appeared on u/s. That means it IS still growing right? It has me so worried and kept me up crying all night. According to my pelvic exam, my cervix is closed, but the ER doctor was not very positive about this being a viable pregnancy. I am so torn up.
I have a follow up appt. with my OB thursday and am so scared that the worst is going to happen before then...

Does anyone have experience with this? All I want to see is a strong heartbeat. It's killing me.

I've miscarried twice and had a molar pregnancy, now I'm 34 weeks pregnant and everything looks great so far. Don't stress yourself out that can cause a miscarriage wait to talk to your ob.

I believe I'm in the process of passing baby now. Cramps and dark bleeding. I'm not sure if I can handle this.

You could of ovulated later than you thought. Especially if your periods are irregular. With my first pregnancy I had light bleeding at 6w2d went to the hospital and they saw a baby and a heartbeat and my levels looked good. Bleeding stopped completely that night and then at 9 weeks I got a repeat ultrasound. Baby was only measuring 6w4d and no heartbeat. My next pregnancy a month later I started bleeding worse than a period at 5w3d went to the hospital. Couldn't see a heartbeat and my hcg levels were off the chart. Was told to expect the worst. Went back at 6w1d and saw the heartbeat. Continued to bleed for 5 weeks and then suddenly it just stopped. My daughter is now 4. Bleeding in pregnancy does not always mean miscarriage. If your levels are doubling like they are supposed to and baby is growing then don't give up hope.

If the bleeding starts up again, or the cramps get worse, call your OB. I got cramps from an internal U/S last week, so that's possible. I would just hope for the best, but brace for the worst, just in case. I hope everything turns out good for you!!!

Last night was the first time I've bled since implantation spotting. It was dark blood but I had no cramps. I rushed to the ER and has some light pink spotting after all the tests, but was told that can be normal. Since then I have not bled but have had some light cramping, but it has only been around 7hrs since I've been home. Of course, I want to blame my pelvic exam for the cramps because I'm probably in denial...

Many things can be off, you really NEVER know! Unless you were actively trying and tracking everything dead on, which I was, that's the only way I knew when I ovulated, when I got pregnant, knew my due date before the doctor, etc. Have you had any spotting or cramping?

Thank you for the reply.
Yes, thursday at my OB appt I am scheduled to have another ultrasound done and I'm sure they will test my blood again as well. I am really hoping it is just my dates but it seems very unlikely.

Unfortunately, I'm almost 7 weeks and my last period was at the beginning of April, so it sounds like your baby is measuring a behind, which isn't good. I don't want to give you false hope, as it seems like this may be an early miscarriage. If you think maybe your dates are off, and the baby is really 6w1d, at that point it is still a little early for a H/B. Do you have another U/S planned or more blood work??
