Not pregnancy related

Hi just quik question...

My daughter has just come back from a lil holiday with her dad and his family to great yarmouth (UK) any ways hes just said to me he would like to take her abroad next year ...

Ive said no but not to be horrible or anything i just dont think i could cope with her being that far away and something happening to her and i cant get there... I dont mind if he takes her some where in uk just bit worried outside uk...

Any ways my question is hes not on birth certificate however he does have 50% perental rights does this mean he can get her a passport with out my concent??

Sorry for long message just tad worrid if he would do it behind my back?

I'd call up your local office that does passports. I can't imagine he'd be allowed to without a birth certificate but if he's traveling with her and doesn't need a birth certificate I'm not sure.
I'm in Australia and I'm flying to another state with my toddler and I need to take his birth certificate but I think its just to prove his age and that he doesn't need a ticket.
