Nursing and pregnant?

I will take a test tomorrow but I have a feeling I am pregnant again. My husband and I are new parents to our 4 month old little girl and not trying just yet but I feel like I did with the first pregnancy. I haven't said anything to him because we are still adjusting. I am breastfeeding my daughter and plan to for at least another 2 months. We have used condoms since there is inconclusive proof if there is any effects of the pill and nursing. I had a few cycles close together then a normal period in Sept. Last month I spotted with a wipe but nothing after that. In all my last cycle was 2 months ago at this point. I'm excited but anxious. I loved being pregnant but I don't want to take away from my daughter. She is our first and only. The plan was one child in diapers at a time. I had very bad pre-eclampsia with my previous pregnancy. I know every pregnancy is different but I'm almost scared that I could be pregnant. Talk about mixed emotions! I'll know tomorrow!!!

Thank you for the reassurance. The test was negative yesterday. Still nothing but the nausea and all is certainly here. I plan to give it more time but I just feel pregnant. I guess it wouldn't be so bad to have them close in age. I'm sure it's quite a bond. I did tell my husband last night that I tested. He's relieved because he's worried it'll be too soon for my body since I had a complicated 1st pregnancy. He then said that aside, he would be the happiest man alive. Part of me wants to wait the other part wants to be pregnant. I love that my daughter is physically here but I do miss feeling the kicks knowing I was carrying a baby. If I am just hormonally late and not pregnant I will be disappointed. Like I said we aren't trying but at this point my hopes are up. Time will tell!!!

Nursing can make you feel pregnant and your periods crazy so there's no telling until you take a test. I continued to nurse while pregnant but mine was already 10 months. And it was hard. I know some people do it but every time I nursed I would feel really sick like I had the flu. It was awful so eventually I quit. But I was like around3 mo preg when I quit. That's when it was the worst.

dont worry :) you can still breastfeed if your pregnant, you just have to make sure your diet is good and you take your prenatals, also its not too hard having them that close together, I fell pregnant when one of my babies was 3 months old, they have a bout a years gap, you will find that they will be close and there isnt any time for jelousy :)
