How long after birth do u see a regular period? i had  my baby June 19th. i bled after birth  for like 2 or 3 wks and stop. now it August, i was breastfeeding and bottle feeding also. i stop breastfeeding like 2 wks now since i was sick and was taken medicine. now i have realise my breasts are not producin alot of milk. i try pumpin but have no luck really. i only get a little bit not even a ounce. i had my six wks appt today and the doctor gave me birth control pills to start  takin. Another thing is  i had unprotected on August 5th, she  say i could get pregnant from that. i did a pregnant test it came back negative. when should i test again. i started the birth control pills today. any suggestions.

Test in about 1-2 weeks. if the test in a week comes up negative, wait another week and test again. ALSO~ in the meantime use some form of BC like condoms reliably if you don't want to take your BC pills until your sure your not pregnant again.

I'd test in a few days or get a blood test. I had my son almost a year ago and stopped pumping at eight months as my supply dried up and i am not taking birth control, and i have yet to get an actual period. I've had spotting but nothing i've needed a pon or pad for. Every one is different so it's hard to say. If your that concerned i would see your Dr.
