OT frustration with toys Christmas day

So wanted to let you new mama's on in a secret to opening presents with littel ones, WHen wrapping them take them completly out of the box, undo every tie and loose box piece, put the batteries in them, TURN THEM IN THE OFF position:) haha you don't want someone shaking the box and music play, then re-wrap them back up.

I use a small amount of tape if needed to stick it to the box, like the ones that only have the actual box on three sides. This saves time on HCristmas day and for the little ones they can actuall play and not loose interest as you try getting it undone and bateries in it.

I had three little ones 3 and under and was a single mom the first time around so now with my little guy who is now 6 months my secrets will pay off;) Happy wrapping and hope you have less frustration on the big day!

If I looked back and tried to fix everything I messed up in spelling and grammer I would fill every post up! haha I did not even notice it!

Yeah it seems that those little things we realize afterwards are the things we are saying "How could I forget that" more then once!

WHen I got my 3-4 year old (then) girls thier first doll house together I loved opening everything! I played with it for ever, not saying the actual time;) TO fun for us too for sure

Thanks those are some great tips :-D. I promised I would do that after my daughter's 2nd birthday but I completely forgot so I'm glad you reminded me..LOL. Even though one of her presents is going to be a shiny new trike and don't need wrapping, I'm considering wrapping it just for fun anyway LOL. LOL@ husband...I just told him what we were gonna do and he goes "So open them, put the batteries in, then put them back in and wrap them? Hm! Good idea. Maybe!" I went "Uh, no maybe, that's what we're going to do " and he goes "oh yeah that's what I meant".....der.
