OT~~~feeling down.

Not thinking this is my month to get a BFP. Just really depressed lately, and not feeling pregnant really. Ah..the wait continues. I think AF is due in two days and if not could be due up to the 28th, or not come until later due to this being my first cycle off b/c...I'm just ready to know or to get AF, I read online today you don't have to ovulate to have AF. It's called an ambulatory bleed. SO...I might not even be ovulating yet...

Yes, my cycles were back to normal right away - they were 28 days before DS, but now they're more like 29 days.  And that was after being on the pills for 4 years!  I think our bodies just know what to do, you know? I don't think that it's inconceivable that you're pregnant :-).  I remember my dr recommending I wait 3 mos before TTC after stopping the pill, but I think that was only so the pregnancy could be dated properly....

Thanks, you made me feel a little better with your post b/c story. Maybe I will be the same, this is only cycle one. So you went right back into regular cycles? Mine were irregular before DS and after him before I started b/c.

I'm so sorry you've been feeling so down!!

If it makes you feel any better at all (which I hope it does!) I researched the pill I was on (Marvelon) and it's the same as Aviane, the one you were on.  It contains 2 hormones and tricks your body into thinking you've already ovulated - basically, it prevents ovulation, like yours did.  DH and I weren't TTC right after I got off of it, but I got pg. with DH on my 3rd cycle off.....so it didn't take long for ovulation to start back up again....it could have even been back to normal on my first cycle off, not that I'll ever know that, of course.

((hugs))  I hope you feel better soon :-)

I actually got pregnant on the first try with DS. I was gone four weeks, and back with DH on Oct 15, I got pregnant on/around the 17th. So it was quick and easy with him, I'm just afraid b/c has messed me up.

I feel your pain!  I was all hopeful yesterday that this was our month and I am not so positive today.  My DH and I have been TTC our 2nd child for 9 months and nada.  I feel so blessed that we have our miracle little girl (I have PCOS and endometriosis) but I ache for another!

Hang tough and stay strong!  Sending baby dust your way!

Sorry you are feeling down, we've all gone through that, but its not very common to get pregnant on the first month, usually couples take 6 months or more to get pregnant.  There's nothing wrong with you, its simply that every month doing everything perfectly, you only have 20% chance of getting pregnant.

Hang in there and don't stress about it, it will happen soon.

I was reading up on my b/c online and it said it only takes about a couple days to get out of your system, but it can take months sometimes to actually ovulate again and be back on track...it's just incredibly frustrating not knowing.

Hang in there!  I agree that the pill can take a few months to get out of you system and to get back to normal.  It is frustrating and hard though...most of us have been through it!

It can take some women up to 3 months for the pill to be completely out their system. Dont be sad if af shows its still early days. Good luck. x
