Ovulation timing????? Lots of questions??

I used an OPK this month - I used one when I got pregnant with my son 3 years ago. It worked great.
However, this time my sticks never showed that I ovulated BUT..... I know I ovulated. I can feel it - I am pretty sure I can even tell the side that I ovulated from. I know I probably don't even need a OPK then. So why did my sticks not turn? I am pretty sure I ovulated Wednesday. My hubby and I BD on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Should I continue OPK testing just to be sure or could I have sealed the deal already? Any advice???

hi, i am also using ovulaton sticks and have just found out i am ovulating today.  I tested for a really long time and finially got a positive result today. It is day 26 so not the usual day 14 that most people have.  I know that i ovulate late so i kept testing even though i felt like i was ovulating 5 days ago (obviosly not).  If i were you i would bd again as my test says that i will ovulate in the next 24 to 36 hours after the surge so we bd last night and we will tonight and tomorrow night just incase it is the 36 hour thing. If you have PCOS then the OPKs don't work, is what I've heard.

I'm kind of with you,altho i have never used any OVK. But i feel like i know when im ovulating.
Is it usualy to get your ovulating before and after you period?

Thanks ....I guess I should just forget about the sticks. Since I think I ovulated yesterday - should my hubby and I BD one more time????

I Have experienced the same,best time to use sticks is after 2pm try hold your wee for up to 3 hours.its true for some women a few hours is all we get others longer.no i have mastered when i ov using them i catch my surge onway up and down,also just because we feel like we have ovulated it doesnt mean the egg was released,i found this out after i started to chart,good luck.

I heard that you can miss a positive easily on the OPK.  Apparently the LH surge only lasts for a few hours.  If you think you ovulated, you probably did.

any comments/opinions???? I know many of you have this whole monthly cycle thing down pat. Just hoping for some advice. Thanks
