Metformin will help with the sympthoms of PCOS, it will also help to regulate a menstral cycle which will then help you ovulate. As your docs have told you, that women with PCOS do not all the time Ovulate. Some time medication like Clomid or another Fertility medication can ehlp you ovulate. Having PCOS and TTC is hard, but not impossiable. I know MANY women who have had a wonderful and healthy preg. with PCOS. Also eating healthy, and walking (as an example), all around healthy lifestyle is the key.
