PLEASE HELP.... traumatic experience

33 wks pregnant, Sunday evening came and the pain then came back I rung the hospital again early hrs of the morning which they told me to go to hospital because the pain was really bad. I was given all sorts of pain relief but the pain was so intense that they gave morphine to calm the pain down. I then had another scan to find out what the problem was but they could not diagnose anything so they put it down to the baby sitting on my kidneys causing them to burst, I was then told that I could go home the next day which was a Thursday.Early hrs of Thursday morning (19th august) I went into labour, the doctors came and told me that because the baby is still breach a C-section was the best course of action.10am came I went down to have the C-section; after the baby was born I was very upset that I wasn’t even allowed to see him even though he didn’t need urgent attention.Halfway through the surgery I began to feel pain and it got worse by the minute like it was being strangled and couldn't breathe, the then said to the surgeon " enough is enough now come on" because the trainee was taking too long so the experienced surgeon took over.while I was on the ward I always had to ask for pain relief but I always had to wait hours on end for them so I was sitting in my bed in a lot of pain and tears.A week later on the 29th august  I began to have extreme chest pain so my husband rang for an ambulance, when they arrived they done a ecg  and was told it looks like a suspected heart attack or blood clots on my lungs, I was given morphine and taken to hospital. I was told I need a CT scan the next day, I also experienced another episode of chest pain I told the nurse she then said she will get me some pain relief but I waited a very long time, then I was taken to a ward. The next day on the 31st august I asked the nurse about the scan as I was meant to have it the day before so she said she will trace it up an get back to me, a few hours later and after me having to ask again about the scan I was told that they forgot about it and they will put a request in for another one. A few hours’ later 2 consultants came to see me and said they are very sorry that it was forgotten about and that they were in their words going to send me for a cheaper scan at this time I was very shocked. While I was on this ward I kept smelling a urine odour and I thought I was wetting myself I kept going to the toilet to see if it was me but it wasn’t so in the end I told the nurse, they then cleaned my bed with wipes and made it again but that night I was smelling the same strong smell again so I told them again about it but they did nothing so I hat to sleep on top of the blankets using my dressing gown as a cover. The next day on the 1st September I had the (cheap) scan and told I was in the clear and I can then go home.Home from hospital I’m still bleeding from my private parts from the C-section but the blood was black, and I was getting really bad pains in my stomach, I was going back to the doctors a number of times concerning this and I was put on antibiotics a few times I was also getting infections down below too. I then went to a new hospital (Burnley general) were they did another scan, the gynaecologist said he was very shocked at what he found and that it was a large amount and that I needed to have an operation to have it removed. I had to wait a week to have this operation so a week later on the 28th of October I went to Burnley general hospital to have a d&c operation, while I was waiting to go down to theatre the doctor came to introduce himself and asked me if this was my first miscarriage which concerned me as I wasn’t there for a miscarriage I had to explain why I was there. I had the operation and was told I would bleed for about two weeks, but I carried on bleeding for a further three months having more antibiotics and pain relief from the doctors due to infections and still in pain. I then began having headaches and discharge while still bleeding I then lost my appetite and was having problems sleeping I also started having problems with my bowls and bladder. due to the pain I was experiencing in my stomach I could barely hold or feed my new born baby I was also very tired due to not sleeping that I could barely look after my son and needed help from my husband.
January 2011 - Still bleeding and still in pain, I went to hospital due to extreme pain in my belly but was sent home told to take pain killers, but that night I was at home and felt the need to go to the toilet I then stood up and lost a pint of blood all over the floor, later on that night I went to bed in pain so I took two pain killers but the pain didn’t go away. In the middle of the night I felt the need to go to the toilet again so I got out of bed and lost what looked like another pint of blood on the way to the bathroom as I collapsed on the floor. I then passed a large round object, my husband then phoned the hospital and they told him that I needed to go to the doctors the next day. I went to the doctors and the doctor examined me and told me I needed to go to Burnley hospital ASAP, I took the large object with me for testing. when I got to Burnley hospital I was given another scan and told that I was pregnant and had miscarried or I had an ectopic pregnancy but I told them I was not pregnant and therefore they did a blood test to see if I was or not, the blood test came back negative for pregnancy so they told me to come back in two days for another d&c operation as they didn't know what was wrong. I had the operation and was told again I would bleed for a few weeks, I kept having chest pain again so whet to the doctors and they gave me pain killers and said I had Bornholm’s disease. One night the pain was that bad we had an ambulance come and went to a&e and was told there was nothing they could do and sent me home.February 1st started being sick went to the doctors and was given stronger pain killers and anti-sickness tablets, over the next couple of days the sickness got worse and I began to pass blood in the vomit, phoned nhs direct and they sent an ambulance and took me too hospital, I had blood tests which came back as an abnormal liver. We then noticed that my skin/eyes where yellow.
I was sent to a ward after a chest x-ray, (when I got to the ward I had to ask for the bed to be changed as it smelt of urine very badly again) over the next 5 days of being in hospital I had a liver scan that I had to wait days for, results were normal for my gallbladder, on the day I was to be sent home the consultant said that I needed to be referred to have my gallbladder removed and to have a Camera test to see why my liver was abnormal and that the jaundice was down to being allergic to painkillers (drug induced)  but this wasn’t the case as I stopped taking the tablets and I was given allergy liq. I was given some tablets on discharge to dissolve the stones in my gallbladder but my sickness was still happening and the jaundice was getting worse so I took it upon myself to stop all tablets entering my mouth but I was still jaundice so how can I be allergic to a tablet making me jaundice if I’m not taking them for months? For 3 months I had to change my life style completely to what I was able to eat and drink I was also in and out every week in the gp’s for liver test and testing  the level of my jaundice as they were pretty high. Lucky enough my liver went back to normal months down the line but I still couldn’t go back to work as I developed trauma post-surgery .I had placenta within me for 6 months causing bleeding, pain and all sorts of other things.I think they gave me too many drugs within 6 months by the looks of graphs i have from notes underlined by a DR .i just would like to know if this is acceptable please HELP?

I would have never let them send me home so many times and still having pain over and over i would definitely contact the  head board of the hospital and everyone else that was involved in this. I wish u the best of luck. Hope it become better for u and your family congratulations on having you baby as well.

This is NOT acceptable! This is a case of malpractice resulting from the doctor who performed your c-section not doing a complete and satisfactory job. He left the placenta inside of you which led to multiple infections and possibly life-threatening conditions, not to mention the many hospital bills I'm sure you've had to pay. I would definitely report this to the health board or something. I hope you continue to feel better.
