Paint Fumes While Pregnant?
Is it safe to smell pain fumes while pregnant! I am not painting but my husband is. I have tried going in another room but I can still kinda smell it. Could these fumes harm the baby?
Well the spray paint is bad because it is oil-based paint. Latex paint is fine so long as you keep the air circulating and a window open. I painted a ton my last three pregnancies.
my husband was spray painting in the garage but i could smell it in the back room so i walked around with a mask everywhere lol
We got our living room and den repainted when I was around five months pregnant, and my doctor told me to stay out of the house while they were actually painting. Luckily I was scheduled to work both days they were in the house. :)
