Pap Smear Caused Early Period?

On September 17th I had a pap smear done, later that same day I started bleeding lightly which I thought was from the test, but then I started bleeding more like a period for like 2-3 days & so my question is could the pap smear have triggered my period to come a week early? I'm having many pregnancy symptoms at the moment & I'm not sure if that was my period last month or not???

Thank you so much! I've been so confused about this for 2 weeks. But I guess this means I didn't have a real period for the whole month of September when I have always had regular periods...my last period for a fact ended the 29th-30th of August...so I'm a little late...?!

Call your doctor and let them know you started having abnormal bleeding after your pap smear. A pap won't "trigger" anything.
