Pineapples

So have any of you mommies try to induce your labor with pineapples? And does it work? I just ate pineapples and thought dont they say that with pineapples it helps induce labor.

very unlikely that it'll put you into labour, but they do say all fruit is good to help with dilating, since they're generally known for hydrating you, and that's a huge part of your body being able to do it's work, is how well rested, hydrated and heathy it is! Eat and drink well, sleep lots as much as you can, exercise and relax, that's more likely to get things going than any "tricks" or "hacks" you might have heard about! Trust my girl i've tried everything? 40W and no sign of baby girl! Everything will start when your little fella/girly is good and ready! as awful as the waiting is! Good luck mama

Eating any amounts of crazy food hoping it's going to put you into Labour is just stupid you'll only end up with the runs and that's something you don't want til in Labour whatever's in there will be coming out no control you'll find when the time is ready up u won't actually be hungry

You'd have to eat like a minimum of 7 whole pineapples, including the core, for the enzyme that's in it to even have the slightest chance of "inducing" labour. If someone tells you they ate a few pieces of pineapple and went into labour soon after, it was likely by coincidence and had nothing to do with the pineapple.
