Another bleeding episode : (

Ok well I had more spotting tonight. I don't know what to do. It was a bit stringy in my discharge but it was bright red. This has happened 2 other times and both times I went into the hospital and everything was fine. Cervix was nice and long and baby is moving a lot like normal. Is this something I can just put my feet up and see if it stops? I've been doing a ton of walking the last two days shopping around town getting stuff for the nursery. I'm wondering if it's just from that. Haven't had sex or anything in a while so It's not from that. I just don't want to go back to the hospital and be there all night just for them to tell me everything is normal again. The last time I was in the hospital for spotting was 2 weeks ago and like I said everything was perfect. Cervix was very long and no signs of pre-term labor. So do you think I can just see if this will go away on it's own and definitely stay off my feet for the next few days?

What is your gestational date?  If you are nearing delivery this can be normal.  Before 36 weeks this is something to watch.  Your cervix may becoming irritated by something.  If you're doing a lot of walking then slow down a bit...see if this helps.  I would let your physician know, but don't worry.  If this has happened twice without ill effect, then chances are you are fine.  If your bleeding increases though, or if baby slows in movement, call your physician.

Spotting this late in the game would make me nervous.  I would call my ob and let them know.  They may want u to go get checked again.  It may be nothing but I wouldn't take the chance.  Good luck
