Post c section question

For those mommas that have had a c section in the past. How's it looking now? Do you have a saggy tummy? Is it flat? What's it like? And when did it change? What exercise did Yal do? I'm terrified to over exercise and get a hernia. I'm 11 weeks post natal and dying for a flat tummy! But my doctor is still telling me to take it easy! I'm terrified if getting a hernia!!

Just make sure your healed all the way. I started working out in March 2011after having a c section in December 2010. I just did what I could. I would do a few sit ups but not to many just to slowly start building up my muscle and I didn't want to hurt my self. I did start seeing results but the work out I was doing was intense. Now I'm pregnant with my third so I stopped going to the gym. Good luck.

My c section healed like a dream, barely a scar but I wasn't stapled shut due to an allergy to metal I have, so I was essentially glued shut. Super clean, pretty much painless and they said it healed faster then any they had seen before but I did not get a flat belly, and I lost all the baby weight plus some but I never core trained I just did a food diet. It is possible though if you work it out :) just let the inside heal first before trying to go hard on any work outs.

@drinkbaby kinda both I am high risk the chance of me hemoraing is very high. I could die and so could my babygirl if I try natural again. I also am getting my tubes tied at the same time. I have so many allergies one of them being I'm allergic to the numbing agent in epidurals so I'm put to sleep for my c section. I was the first time also since I am unable to be numbed due to my allergy. I honestly don't have a choice as long as my babygirl comes out healthy!

Thanks everyone :) hope your pregnancies go well :)
& @gabiota0329 no it doesn't hurt. I think it was more mind over matter for me. I was so scared of causing damage afterwards so I was super aware and careful, but it didn't actually hurt

I had a c section in Feb of 2013 I started working put about 12 weeks after an had alot of pain while doing sit ups so I stopped just watched what I ate an then started again I was loosing my tummy but then Feb of 2014 I found out I was pregnant again. But if you work hard it'll be flat again just make sure you give your body time to recover it'll be harder after a c just because they cut through all your muscles so try not to get upset if you don't see results right away it'll happen :)

I've had two csections and scheduled to have another with this birth but I had a relatively flat tummy before this pregnancy except the little bulge over my incision but it was not big enough for me  to complain about but I also went to a diet dr to help me lose weight , walked and worked out! I started after my babies were at least three wks ..

@angelanddragon is it your choice to have another c section or your doctors?
@lovemyboys2 my stomach is also relatively flat but I have that little flab just over my scar. I feel as though it'll never flatten again. Have you chosen to have 3 c sections or is it a medical reason?

I'll be 2 years post c sectio in august my c section scar healed great! No hernia perfect faint line barely a scar. I'm a plus size girl of 220 lbs and expecting again in october via a second c section! Take it easy as your doctor says and then slowly start just walking around walmart or whatever store you shop at to build muscle. I've never had issues. Just the normal numbness still
