Pregnancy after losing an infant

I recently went full term with a beautiful little angel baby.  She was born with the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck and had severe hemmoraging.  She was only alive for about 5 hours.  My doctors told me that I should wait atleast 3 months to try to get pregnant again.  My husband and I started trying again on February 27th after my first period since the loss.  I started taking over the counter ovulation tests on Friday March 2.  Not one of them has come back to say that I am ovulating, and the pregnancy tests still say negative.  I read online that if you are pregnant you do not ovulate.  I do have some pregnancy symtoms like sore lower back, headaches, and more discharge...but I do not know if it is just my mind making me think that I am pregnant because I want it so badly, or if I really might be pregnant and it is just in the inbetween stages?  I think I might just be looking for some advice or maybe just someone to listen...

first off I want to say sorry to hear about your little angel, know she is watching over you.

Secondly have you been using the ovluation tests once a day?  some people have to take them morning and night to catch the serge.  Also since you have only have one cycle since birth you may not be back to you normal cycle.  I would give it a few more cycles to get back to normal and then tracking ovulation maybe easiers.  I have also seen the Clear Blue Fertility montitor recommended often on here.  A friend of mine had been TTC for a year and got pregnant her first month using that.  Good Luck!

I took the ovulation test the day after my cycle stopped. 5 days later i got a faint line so I stopped using them and ended up pregnant right away. My dr told me to do this when my husband and I got the go ahead to start trying. It took us the first try. Go luck and I'm sooo sorry to hear what happened. God Bless
