Pregnancy after miscarriage

Is it save to get pregnant right away after a miscarriage? Would the baby be healthy? I've heard from several people that I had to wait at least 6months others say 1yr... Is that true or no? There is a possibility I can be pregnant but I keep thinking about the miscarriage I just had in may and I'm scared. Help please

I got pregnant straight after a m/c too.  Like the first poster I didn't have a period in between.  I had a healthy boy 6 months ago.  Its hard not to worry but this is a new pregnancy and everything being normal there is no need to worry

I got pregnant again just 2 months after a miscarriage and our little girl is perfectly healthy and very strong at 24 weeks she can kick things off of my stomach. I'd say it's safe. My dr said my body will know when its ready for another pregnancy. Good luck! :)

Hi. Im new here so fingers crossed this works!! After my m/c I asked my midwife how long I should wait to try again and she said as soon as I felt ready. I m/c in may 09 and got pregnant the following month, no period in between. My little boy was born march 10 and was perfectly healthy :) I honestly wouldn't worry, good luck xx
