Pregnancy symptoms with mirena

I got the mirena put in back in June of 2012 and since then I have basically been bleeding since but now I haven't had any kind of bleeding for around two months, my boobs have been extremely sore, smells make me gag, I've been getting terrible Charlie horses in my calves (which I've only ever had when I was preggo with my first), I've been urinating frequently, and had TERRIBLE gas! I just feel like everything points to pregnancy but then I've seen a lot of women who have pregnancy symptoms on mirena I just don't know if I should take a test or not. I hate wasting money for negative tests. Oh I had the hubby check the strings a few weeks ago and they are still in place he said

Ok I'm buying tests today, I don't really think I'm pregnant but we will see!

I still have the mirena stuck in my cerix and I am 18 weeks along and it broke my water and now I am on bed rest to try and keep the baby as long as I can. so the test is the best way my strings were still in place. the mirena didn't come out my doctors are shocked that I havn't miscarried

If the symptoms continue you should take a test just to be sure. I've heard that about mirena too but you never know, there's always a chance.
